Great news today, as we received the last confirmations from Jonathan and Andrea, the two master makers that will work side by side with Julia, Won Hee and myself to produce the first set of luxury basics in Brussels, this June. Here’s a bit more about them.

Jonatan is a fashion, typography and graphic designer from Sweden, co-founder of a knitting start-up based in Hede Bergh, Leuven.

He received his bachelors in fashion design from the Swedish school of textiles, in Borås, a specialization in tailoring from the Stenebyskolan, and in textile design from the Nyckelviksskolan.

Jonatan’s experience ranges from research, to construction and sewing garment, as well as following fitting in high end fashion brands, to developing his own collection, featured in magazines such as Nordic Style Mag and Styleby magazine.

Andréa is a fashion designer based in Uccle, Brussels. She has an international background, going from Brazil to Italy, US and Belgium.

After several years of professional experience in the traditional fashion industry, working as a designer for different clothing & accessories brands, she decided it was time for her to convert to a more sustainable way to create, produce & consume fashion.

In the past year, she worked as a volunteer for the upcycling brand Label Jaune of Les Petits Riens. Now she is investing in her own creative identity, by making unique and original upcycled clothes and by giving upcycling workshops. She is also looking to collaborate with sustainable and social projects that correspond to her values, like the wear | us project.
